Data Safety

Last Updated: January 29, 2026

At PMCC-UK, the safety and integrity of your data are our top priorities. This Data Safety policy explains the technical and organizational measures we take to protect your information.

1. Data Encryption & Security

We use industry-standard security protocols to ensure that data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected. Our platform is continuously monitored for potential vulnerabilities and unauthorized access attempts.

2. Membership Data Handling

Your personal membership information (Name, Email, Phone, Address) is stored in a secure database environment. Access is strictly limited to authorized committee members who require the information for official community business.

3. Analytics & Geolocation Safety

Our real-time analytics system is designed with privacy in mind:

  • Anonymized Insights: While we track IP addresses for community visualization, we do not link individual technical data to your personal membership profile.
  • No Third-Party Sales: We never sell, rent, or trade your data to third-party marketing companies.
  • Trusted Geolocation: We use reputable geolocation providers to translate IP addresses into approximate city/country locations, without accessing your specific residence coordinates.

4. Payment Safety

If you participate in membership fees or event payments, please note that PMCC-UK does not store your credit card or full bank account details on our servers. All financial transactions are handled through secure, regulated payment gateways (if any).

5. Data Retention

We only keep your information for as long as it is necessary to provide you with community services and to comply with legal obligations. You may request the removal of your membership data at any time by contacting our secretary.

6. Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach, PMCC-UK is committed to notifying all affected members within 72 hours of discovering the incident, providing details on what occurred and the steps we are taking to rectify the situation.
